How to read these slices
The rules behind every number here. They also explain why some figures look more modest than the ones in casino marketing.
One observation is a «casino × game × percentage» triple, read on the operator's own site and stored with a date. No estimates, no recalculations from hearsay, no averages borrowed from other reviews: if an operator does not publish a figure, our cell stays empty. Last check 2026-08-23, 40,353 observations in the published set.
Every table carries its sample size: 57 casinos out of 186 in the SPA/MF registry. Without that line a slice would read as a statement about the market while describing the collected part of it. The other 129 are not hiding on purpose — some do not show RTP in the lobby, some keep it behind a login.
In studio slices every game enters the sample once, by the median of its observations. Otherwise a game distributed across forty casinos would enter forty times and the chart would measure distribution reach, not studio settings. That rule is why studio profiles hold 2,327 games rather than every observation on the market.
A catalogue average hides the shape: the medians of 57 casinos sit in a narrow 95.0–97.0 band while the catalogues themselves are built very differently. So profiles show the median, the quartiles and the extremes instead of one number that makes every operator look like a twin.
Trends over time. The observation history is still too short, and any trend chart would show changes in sample composition rather than operator behaviour: add a new casino and «market RTP rises». Once the history is long enough, trend cards will follow as a separate decision.
